SAGA is a command and control system for airports, police departments, fire brigades, ambulance centres and industry. It was originally designed to fulfill the requirements of all those kinds of call centres. SAGA is also able to be an Incident Tracking System for major events or a Crisis Management System for any kind of companies in term of business continuity and risk planning. SAGA has very rich interfaces set. The solution is built on multi tiers architecture. This allows the use of the market’s most powerful tools to quickly adapt the solution to the customers’ requirements at far better prices than for the traditional client-server solutions. It also allows the solution to be maintained by third-party companies.

SAGA is the first and one of the very few products emergency systems in the world to take advantage of the modern multi-tiers architecture.

This means that:

  • the first layer is the database
  • the second one is the business logic
  • and the third one is the user interface layer

The client workstation is very easy to install, only one click on a URL and it’s done. SAGA supports all kind of workstations, like multi screen desktop, PC Tablet or even Handheld PC. SAGA is also able to support Mobile Workstations

The multi-tiers architecture works in asynchronous mode.
This allows handling remote workstations as if they were local.

Multilingual

SAGA DISPATCH is a multilingual system.
This means that in countries where several languages are used, each operator can work in his native language.
All the languages with Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic and Chinese alphabets are supported.

High integration

SAGA DISPATCH’s high integration between data, mapping and telecommunication allows the operator to concentrate on the decisional tasks, because very few manual inputs are required.

Standard tools

SAGA DISPATCH integrates most standard tools such as mapping components of the market, SQL Reporting Services for decisional tasks, tools for the technical documentation.
The mapping component is fully integrated in a bi-directional way allowing the operator to perform most tasks either from the data entry fields or from the mapping component.
Video cameras or external files can be associated with all map objects allowing the operator, with a single click, to perform video surveillance, study building plans and documentation, view access points and other significant information
The mapping component can also be coupled with a GPS (AVL) to locate in real time the vehicles and resources on the field.
All operator actions are recorded and stored and may be retrieved to produce the incident journal or by the reporting component.

SAGA DISPATCH supports multiple screens and displays information in a very user-friendly manner. All windows are dynamic and much of the display and layout is parameter driven making the system extremely flexible and able to adapt to all kinds of dispatching organizations. In order to have a solution really tailored to the customer’s needs and requirements, SAGA has a user interface generator.

SAGA DISPATCH has a high level of integration with data and voice communication systems, such as phone centrals (PBX), radio transmitters and receivers for voice and data (TETRAPOL & TETRA), voice recorders, paging networks, SMS, mail, fax, automatic devices for internal calls, doors opening, and alarm networks.

SAGA DISPATCH also manages resource schedules, both internal and external. External resources may update their personal data and schedules using a secure Internet connection.
